The port topside panel is dry fitted to the mold setup for marking. This panel has previously been scarfed together full length.
MARSH HEN is the latest and largest in our series of molded plywood vee bottom power boats. Designed specifically as a home base for kayak touring, she has basic accommodations for those who want to anchor in the more remote paddling areas.
MARSH HEN gives a very quiet and soft ride with low fuel consumption and excellent seaworthiness. She is powered by a 90 HP Evinrude E-TEC motor which has earned a reputation for low emissions and noise, combined with excellent fuel efficiency.

MARSH HEN’s hull was built with high quality marine plywood sheathed with fiberglass/epoxy. Below she features two bunks and a marine toilet with holding tank. The cockpit features two settee berths and can be completely enclosed by canvas curtains and screens to make an evening on the marsh completely enjoyable.
MARSH HEN is powered by an Evinrude E-TEC 90 HP motor, which resides in a well to keep it out of sight and reduce noise to very low levels.
